Community Guidelines
Effective date: April 26, 2026
Last updated: April 26, 2026
FlickMe is a small, friend-only space for sharing quick photos and chats. To keep it that way, every user agrees to these guidelines. Violating them may result in removal of content, suspension, or permanent termination of your account, and where required by law we may report violations to authorities.
These guidelines apply to everything you send through FlickMe — flicks, captions, chat messages, usernames, and any communications with us.
What's not allowed
We have zero tolerance for the following. A single violation may result in immediate, permanent account termination and reporting to law enforcement where required.
1. Child safety
- Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors.
- Any nudity, sexual content, or sexual messaging involving anyone under 18.
- Grooming behavior toward minors.
- We report all confirmed instances of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by U.S. law.
2. Threats and violence
- Threats of violence, including specific threats against a person or group.
- Glorification or promotion of violence, terrorism, or organized criminal activity.
- Incitement to violence.
3. Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Sharing intimate or sexually explicit images of any person without their consent.
- "Revenge porn" is grounds for permanent termination and is illegal in most jurisdictions.
4. Hate
- Content that attacks, dehumanizes, or promotes hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, disability, or serious disease.
5. Harassment and bullying
- Targeted harassment or bullying of another user.
- Repeated unwanted contact after someone has indicated they want it to stop.
- Sharing another person's private information ("doxxing") without consent.
6. Self-harm
- Content that encourages, promotes, or instructs self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- If you or someone you know is struggling, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US) by dialing or texting 988.
7. Illegal activity
- Content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates illegal activity.
- Buying, selling, or coordinating the sale of regulated goods (drugs, firearms, etc.).
- Fraud, scams, or impersonation.
8. Spam and platform abuse
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade bans.
- Automated or scripted use of the App.
- Attempts to break, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
9. Sexual content
Because FlickMe is rated 13+, sexually explicit content of any kind is not permitted, even between consenting adults. Use a different platform for that.
10. Intellectual property infringement
- Posting content you do not have the right to share.
- We respond to valid DMCA takedown notices — see "Reporting" below.
How we enforce these guidelines
Content moderation
- Flicks are designed to be ephemeral and we do not pre-screen them. However, anyone who receives a flick can report it before it disappears.
- Reports are reviewed by Will Miraglia personally during this MVP phase, and we aim to respond within 24 hours.
- Decisions consider the context of the report, the reporter's account, the reported user's history, and the content itself when available.
Possible actions
Depending on the severity, repeated nature, and context of a violation, we may:
- Remove the content (where it still exists on our servers).
- Issue a warning.
- Temporarily suspend the account (typically 24 hours – 7 days).
- Permanently terminate the account.
- Block the device or IP from creating new accounts.
- Report the user to law enforcement.
We don't operate a formal appeals process during MVP. If you believe an action against your account was taken in error, email support@flickmeapp.com with your username and a brief explanation.

- They cannot search for or view your profile.
- Existing chat messages between you are hidden from your view.
- Streaks between you are reset.
You can unblock people from Profile → Settings → Blocked users.
DMCA / copyright
If you believe content on FlickMe infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to support@flickmeapp.com including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material with enough detail to locate it (e.g., username and approximate date).
- Your contact information.

- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
Government and law-enforcement requests
We respond to valid legal process. To submit a request, email support@flickmeapp.com from a verifiable government domain. We require a subpoena, court order, or warrant, as applicable under U.S. law, to disclose user data. Emergency requests involving imminent threats to life or serious bodily injury can be sent to the same address with "EMERGENCY" in the subject line.
